A successful day was had at Southwell on Tuesday with Mahons Glory having his first attempt over the big fences finishing 2nd in a Class 3 2m4f Novices’ Chase with jockey Henry Brooke onboard.
Mahons proved to enjoy the challenge and finished strongly for owners; Hold My Beer syndicate and Mr Nightingale. We look forward to seeing what is next for him.
Mahons was rewarded with a spa day following his run including using his favourite feature the water treadmill courtesy of the fantastic facilities at Sun Hill.
